Master class "Bank risk management under martial law"
General Information
On March 22, 2024, the Department of Banking organized a master class by Oleksandr Titarenko, Head of Risk Verticals of JSC "Altbank", for students of higher education of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, specialty 072 "Finance, Banking, Insurance and the Stock Market" of the educational programs "Bank Management business" and "Financial mediation" of the "master's" educational degree within the disciplines "Bank risk management" and "Financial risk management". The event is dedicated to the current issues of forming a risk management system in Ukrainian banks in today's conditions.
Students deepened their knowledge of the key risks inherent in banks, the features of determining risk appetite and assessing their risk profile; understood the intricacies of the bank's risk management process, primarily in its organizational, methodical, informational support and risk assessment tools; got acquainted with the specifics of the bank's risk management in the conditions of martial law. The report of the specialist-practitioner interested the listeners, they asked many questions about the modern construction of the risk management system in domestic banks.
The students and teachers of the Department of Banking are sincerely grateful to Mr. Oleksandr for the interesting master class and hope for further fruitful cooperation!
