Master class on “Practical cases of tax audit under martial law in Ukraine”
General Information
With the assistance of the Department of Financial Analysis and Audit of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, within the framework of the meeting of the student scientific club “Club of Auditors and Financial Analysts”, an open master class on “Practical cases of tax audit under martial law in Ukraine” was held on October 15, 2024. The speaker of the event was Artem Pihar, a master's degree student in the educational program “Financial Analytics”, Chief State Inspector of Scheduled Inspections of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Kirovohrad region.
During the master class, the participants considered cases of tax audits under martial law: they identified key objects of tax audit and peculiarities of its conduct; mastered the process of drawing up an act on the results of the audit by state audit entities, etc.
Over 50 students attended, representing various educational levels, including bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral candidates in the field of "Accounting and Taxation," specifically from programs such as "Financial Control and Audit," "Financial Analytics," and "Digital Audit and Analysis." Lively discussions were held on the different facets of tax audits, demonstrating the students' engagement with the topic.
This master class provided participants with a practical opportunity to deepen their knowledge and competencies, reinforcing the idea that knowledge is power.
