Over the last 25 years, the State University of Trade and Economics / Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics has been gradually developing a system of effective management - a system of crisis management aimed at preventing and minimizing the risks associated with the impact of external turbulence, optimization of its own resources, the development of business excellence, innovativeness, corporate ecological responsibility.

• Effective functioning of the Quality Management System,

which organically united the requirements of the provisions of the ISO 9001 international standards (2009 version, subsequently - 2015), European standards and recommendations for higher education and the legal and regulatory basis of Ukraine. Successful functioning based on constant improvement of the quality assurance system of higher education and quality of educational activity of the university was created and ensured.

• The financial stability of the university is ensured

- sustainable implementation of investment and funding programs, development of financing by all sources of income;

- uninterrupted timely monthly payment of salaries to employees and scholarships to students;

• State order plans of specialists training are implemented in full annually

- extensive multidimensional work on formation of entrants contingent to study at all levels of education, career guidance work;

• Personnel policy aimed at shaping the quality of human capital

- competitive examination while forming the teaching staff;

- planned qualification upgrading of teachers (including in foreign organizations and institutions), certification of employees;

- constant formation of reserve for admission to postgraduate study among students of master's degree;

• Quality assurance in the educational process, adequate to the challenges of today and demands of employers

- effective interaction with employers - involvement of them in the formation of relevant competences, the development of curricula, methodological provision of disciplines, topics of qualification works; conducting business trainings;

- constant expansion of cooperation agreements with governmental, business structures, institutions and organizations, the list of practice bases, including foreign ones;

- involvement in the educational process, databases and software products used in practice;

• Responding to the informatization of society - informatization development in university activity and educational process

- expanding the list and enhancing the content of information-oriented disciplines in all curriculum plans for specialists;

• Implementation of environmental policy

- focused implementation of energy and heat-saving regime of university functioning;

- all educational buildings and dormitories are insulated and lined with heat-reflecting, heat-saving materials, metal-plastic windows are installed;

- the facilities of the university are fully provided with the means of metering of heat energy, electricity, water and natural gas;

- on the territory of the university external heat and water distribution networks were reconstructed, automatic control systems for delivering heat-carrier were installed, which helped to increase the reliability of the engineering systems operation and to prevent emergencies; operational management of thermal energy use is performed, depending on weather conditions and during non-working hours;

- implementation of energy efficiency measures ensured the absence of forced breaks in the educational process due to lack of heating;

- exchange ventilation with chillers and fan coils unites was upgraded;

- a centralized air conditioning system is installed in the university buildings;

- luminaires equipped with motion sensors, all energy-saving lamps are installed in the university and in the halls of the initial buildings;

- water saving system is functioning, all plumbing equipment is modernized;

- production of clean water was introduced;

- there is a constant gardening areas among the whole territory of university;

- bicycle parking was created.

- Corporate electronic document circulation system is being developed to reduce the volume of printed documents. purchases of computers and appliances with low energy consumption, eco-goods for office;

- regular disposal of used paper and batteries;
